This White Paper is intended to increase public awareness regarding the paucity of knowledge concerning the Jewish view of afterlife and its impact on health care delivery, cultural competence curricula in the education of health professionals, the selection of medical assisted suicide, and cremation. Suggestions are provided regarding methods to rectify misinformation about this topic.
